We work closely with our trusted partners, Lammintupa, Ruka Adventures and Outdoor Passion Finland to offer our guests a wide range of activities and experiences.
Lammintupa activity park also known as Winter Village, is located just a 10-minute walk (700 m) from Magical Pond. It offers a variety of activities, including husky and reindeer safaris, snowmobiling, and fun ice karting race. The area also has a cosy café serving delicious local, freshly baked treats.
Ruka Adventures offers a wide range of activities and experiences. Their Safari House is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Magical Pond. For activities booked for two guests, transportation to and from Magical Pond is included. Ruka Adventures also works with several local activity providers in the Kuusamo area, including Erä-Susi Husky Farm and Kujala Reindeer Farm.
Outdoor Passion Finland offers exciting Arctic experiences in Ruka, including unforgettable ice climbing adventures. Ice climbing is suitable for all experience levels and offers a unique way to experience the snow, ice and Arctic conditions.

A thrilling ride on the ice karting track right next door. You’ll have over half a kilometre of fast-paced driving on slippery ice, state-of-the-art equipment and all the necessary driving gear.

A guided snowmobile safari is an easy and safe way to get around to get to know the secrets of snowmobiling and experience unforgettable experiences.

The varied and extensive Ruka ski trails start right next to us, just under 5 minutes from the igloo village.

Mountain biking/fatbike
Experience the area and nature on fatbikes! Under 5 minutes from us are the excellent cycling trails of Ruka.
Excursions in RUKA
Explore everything Ruka Village has to offer! You’ll find a wide range of local services, and lift passes can be easily purchased online. Equipment rental is available both in Ruka Village and East Ruka.
Ruka Village is also home to the popular Ruka Coaster, while on winter evenings from 7:30 PM, the Front Slopes turn into a fun Stiga sledding area.
